Connector Management Features

You can perform management operations such as refreshing, editing (renaming), and deleting on installed connectors. The buttons are in the header of the connector details screen.

Refreshing Connectors

Re-fetch the connector’s tool list (MCP schema) so it reflects the latest state.

When Refreshing is Needed

  • When settings have been changed on the external service side
  • When connection errors occur
  • When the tool list has been updated

Refresh Steps

1

Select Connector

Click the connector you want to refresh from the My Connectors list.
2

Click the Refresh Button

Click the refresh icon button in the header of the connector details screen.
3

Confirm Completion

The message “MCP schema refreshed successfully” appears when the refresh is complete.
When a newer version of a connector’s MCP server is available, an “Update Available” badge is shown on the connector. Refresh it to get the latest version.

Deleting Connectors

Remove connectors that are no longer needed.
Once deleted, the connector will no longer be available in chat. You will need to install it again to use it.

Delete Steps

1

Select Connector

Click the connector you want to delete from the My Connectors list.
2

Click the Delete Button

Click the trash icon button in the header of the connector details screen.
3

Confirmation Dialog

The “Delete MCP” dialog appears. If the connector is used by agents, the dialog lists them and warns that those agents will stop working. Click “Delete” to confirm.

Renaming Connectors

You can change the display name of a connector. This changes the name used when typing @connectorname in chat.

When Renaming is Useful

  • When you want to distinguish between multiple accounts of the same service
  • When you want a shorter name for easier access
  • When you want to name it according to its purpose

Rename Steps

1

Select Connector

Click the connector you want to rename from the My Connectors list.
2

Click the Edit Button

Click the pencil icon button in the header of the connector details screen. The “MCP Configuration” dialog opens.
3

Enter New Name

Enter the new name in the “Name” field and click “Update”.
Jinba Flow connectors cannot be edited here; the pencil button is replaced by a link to the Jinba Flow tab.
After renaming, you can call the connector using @newname in chat.

Troubleshooting

Please check the following:
  • Is the external service account still valid?
  • Has the API key or token expired?
  • Have access permissions been changed on the external service side?
  • The delete dialog shows “Used in Agents” with the list of agents that use the connector
  • Those agents will stop working if you proceed; remove the connector from the agents first if you still need them
