Llama Credentials

Create a Llama Cloud API key and save it as a Jinba Flow secret for the Llama Cloud tools.

Configure a Llama Cloud (LlamaIndex) API key to parse documents and query a Llama Cloud index from your Jinba Flow workflows. The Llama tools in Jinba Flow are LLAMA_CLOUD_PARSE and LLAMA_CLOUD_QUERY; they call the hosted Llama Cloud API, not a locally running Llama model.

Prerequisites

• A Llama Cloud account
• For LLAMA_CLOUD_QUERY, an index created in Llama Cloud

Getting Your API Key

1. Sign in to Llama Cloud
2. Open the API keys section and generate a new API key
3. Copy the generated key

Setting Up in Jinba Flow

1. Go to your workspace settings in Jinba Flow
2. Navigate to the “Secrets” section
3. Click “Create Secret” and choose the type LLAMA_CLOUD_API_KEY
4. Enter a name and paste the key into the api_key field
5. Click “Save” to store your credentials

Usage

Select the saved secret in the Llama Cloud API key field (apiKey config) of LLAMA_CLOUD_PARSE or LLAMA_CLOUD_QUERY. See the Llama Cloud tools page for the tool inputs.
