The chat list in the sidebar

The sidebar shows chats per agent as well as recent (ad-hoc) chats. Recent chats sit under the “Chats” heading, grouped into “Today / Yesterday / Previous 7 days / Previous 30 days”; the heading folds the section away like Configure and Agents. An expanded agent group shows at most 10 of that agent’s chats. “Show N more” reveals the ones already loaded beyond that, and “Show more” then loads older chats for that agent, 25 at a time, until there are none left. Collapsing the group puts it back to 10. The chat you are currently in — and any chat with a run in progress — always stays visible, however far down the list it sits. On desktop, the sidebar is resizable — drag its right edge to the width you like (double-click the handle to reset). Dragging it all the way in collapses it to a narrow icon rail; drag it back out to expand. The width is remembered per device. The sidebar never collapses on its own — navigating or resizing the window keeps it open, and collapsing is always your decision (the toggle button or the drag). If you would rather have it fold down to icons on portrait devices and narrow windows, choose “Fold to icons” under “Sidebar on small screens” in Personalize settings (off by default).

Pinning

Pin frequently used chats to keep them at the top of the sidebar.
  • Choose “Pin” from the chat’s menu
  • To remove it, choose “Unpin”

Renaming

Chat titles are generated automatically from the first message, but you can change them at any time via “Rename” in the menu.

Duplicating

“Duplicate” in the chat’s menu in the sidebar (between Rename and Delete) starts a new chat that carries the conversation so far — the messages and, for an agent chat, the same agent. The copy is titled “<original title> (copy)”, and you land in it right away. The AI sees the copied conversation with your first message there, so it can continue from where the original left off; use it to branch into a side task, or to keep going after the original chat has hit its own usage limit.
  • Files the AI generated in the original — files produced by flow runs included — are carried over: they are listed under the copy’s deliverables and can be previewed and downloaded there. Cards from the original and its pin are not carried over
  • A chat cannot be duplicated while the AI is still replying to it, or while it is waiting for your answer on a card or an approval — finish or stop that first

Deleting

Choose “Delete” from the chat’s menu. The messages in the chat are deleted as well.
Deleted chats cannot be restored.
The “Search” button beside the workspace name at the top of the sidebar (shortcut: ⌘K, Ctrl + K on Windows; the first icon of the collapsed rail) opens the command palette, where you can search your past chats.
  • Both titles and message bodies are searched. Letter case, full-width and half-width characters, and hiragana and katakana all match either way (せーるす finds セールス)
  • Select a result to jump to that chat
To search within the open chat, use “Search in this chat.” Move between hits with “Previous / Next.”

When a chat cannot be found

If you see “Chat not found,” the chat has been deleted or you no longer have access (for example, a chat belonging to an agent that is no longer shared with you).
