Get a Web Answer with Perplexity in Jinba Flow

Run PERPLEXITY_SEARCH with a query and inspect its answer, citations, and token usage.

Use PERPLEXITY_SEARCH with a required query. The optional model defaults to sonar. Set api_key for your own Perplexity key, or use the Jinba credit option.

Authentication

If you do not have a Perplexity API key, you can still run Perplexity tools by using Jinba API credit. If you’d like to use your own API key, you can obtain one from the official Perplexity website.

Note: Treat API keys as sensitive information and never commit them to public repositories.

Inspect the answer and citations

The response includes result.choices, result.citations, result.model, and result.usage. Read the answer from a choice’s message.content and review its citations before using it downstream. If the call fails, check the key or credit option and model.
