Build a flow that accepts a name and returns a greeting. This first run uses Jinba Flow’s built-in text tools, so it needs no external service or credentials. To describe a flow in plain language instead of writing YAML, use the Copilot in the chat panel. See Build a workflow with the chat panel.

Before you start

Create the workflow

  1. Sign in to Jinba Flow and open a new flow.
  2. Open the YAML code panel and enter this manifest:
The INPUT_TEXT step provides the flow input. The OUTPUT_TEXT step returns a greeting that uses the first step’s result.

Run and check the result

Run the flow. If Jinba Flow asks for an input value, enter Jinba. A successful run has status success; the greeting step result is Hello, Jinba!. If the run fails, open its details and check the first failed step. INPUT_TEXT needs a non-empty value. If the output does not include the name, confirm the reference uses the input step’s exact ID: steps.name.result.
